New Affordable Fortis Line from Premier Body Armor

The new Fortis Line of Premier Body armor offers excellent performance at a price that won't break the bank.

New Affordable Fortis Line from Premier Body Armor

Premier Body Armor brings the most cost-effective, high-performance line of ballistic protection to the market with the launch of its newest collection, the Fortis Line. Where high performance meets high value, the Fortis Line delivers an affordable line of rifle-rated plates and a robust plate carrier, without compromising the industry-leading ballistic protection Premier is known for.

"In 2024 Premier Body Armor will redefine value in personal protection, with a new line of armor products that balance affordability with unmatched quality," stated Alex Stewart, President of Premier Body Armor. "When we launched the original FORTIS steel plate in 2013, it was groundbreaking for its era, featuring a true SAPI curve at a mere 6.9 lbs, establishing a new benchmark for high-performance plates at an economical price point. This year, we're paying homage to the trailblazing FORTIS plate by reviving its name for an entire line of FORTIS plates. Each product not only offers superior protection but also comes with a seven-year warranty, emphasizing our commitment to quality, longevity, and exceptional value."

The Fortis plate collection includes four (4) rifle-rated plates, each offering competitive pricing while remaining extremely lightweight. Alex continues, “Rather than going back to steel though, Fortis ballistic products are constructed of state-of-the-art material. The Fortis line is going to expand our offering and open up the Premier Body Armor brand to more Americans who want solid armor, from a trusted brand, at a great price!”

The Fortis III+ GT/RF2 plate boasts green tip protection with multi-hit capabilities. The Fortis III+/RF1 plate with multi-curve, edge-to-edge protection offers unparalleled protection against high-velocity threats, tested not only to meet, but exceed, the NIJ Level III standard, including the 308/M80, 5.56/45 M193 at 3250fps, and 7.62x39 MSC. The Fortis IV/RF3 plate also offers multi-hit capabilities with edge-to-edge protection defeating .30-06 AP at an outstanding $199 price point. Finally, the Fortis Level III+/RF1 ICW plate offers a lighter, thinner package, designed to be worn with Premier Body Armor’s Level IIIA NIJ Certified ballistic vest to offer Level III protection at only 2.5 lbs. With the full Fortis plate collection tested to meet the NIJ 0101.06 standard, demonstrating multi-hit capabilities, and holding a 7-year warranty, you’ll get exceptional high performance at a high value.

In addition to the comprehensive line of rifle-rated plates, the Fortis Line also delivers the Fortis Alpha Carrier. This lightweight, adjustable plate carrier is designed for the discerning professional and offers optimal functionality and superior durability. Constructed from robust 500D Nylon and enhanced with 1000 Denier laser-cut MOLLE, the Fortis Alpha Plate Carrier is a winner. While leveraging a global economy of scale, and constructed of US materials, the Fortis Line delivers the optimal performance you’ve come to expect from Premier Body Armor at an unbeatable price.
